If you’re curious about chocolate, come join Bay Area chocolate taster Lexie Carroll (The Chocolate Tour Guide) for a guided educational workshop and tasting at the Xocolate Bar and Confections in Rockridge Oakland! Come enjoy a fascinating, enlightening, and TASTY fine flavor experience!

This fun and educational experience includes:

· 90 minute workshop+tasting with 30 min. Q&A afterwards

· An across-the-board tasting of high-quality white, milk and dark chocolate

· A brief introduction to how & where cacao grows, and why bean origin matters

· How to shop for a good bar of chocolate and decipher packaging

· How chocolate is similar to fine wine and coffee

· What to do if you find the chocolate you usually eat to be too sweet, too bitter or too one-dimensional

· How to choose more ethical chocolate and why it matters


This event is held at & in partnership with Xocolate & Confections shop in Rockridge, Oakland. Tasting attendees are eligible for a promotion in-store the day of the tasting: buy 3 items get one free!
