About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Be a Role Model. Learn to Save a Life.

NOTE: Class is open to anyone ages 9 and older. Participants under 16 years old require an adult to attend with them. More than one 9 or younger can attend with a single adult.

What if you could be the difference between life and death for someone you love? Or even a perfect stranger?

This summer, we’re offering two chances to gain life-saving skills. Join us on either June 19 or July 17, 2025, for one of our inspiring “Role Model Events.” In just 90 minutes, you’ll learn hands-only CPR and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Skills anyone can use in an emergency.

You’ll also hear the powerful, real-life story of Olivier “Oli” Eustache, who suffered a heart attack while bodyboarding at T-Street Beach on Christmas Day 2024—and survived thanks to the quick, trained response of surfers, lifeguards, firefighters, and bystanders.

The class will be taught by our local lifeguards.

Each session is a stand-alone class—you only need to attend one. Open to anyone from junior lifeguard age (9 years old) through adults. Space is limited, so register early.

This is your chance to be prepared. And to become a role model in our community.

One class. 90 minutes. Save a life.
