Please note that this is an in-person workshop
If you are an Early Career Researcher (ECR) based at the University of Glasgow, please join us for our next Centre for Public Policy ECR Network event.
We will be hosting a Policy Brief Writing Workshop led by CPP Associate Director and former Member of the Scottish Parliament, Professor Kezia Dugdale!
Kezia has served as an MSP and Leader of Scottish Labour, she brings with her a wealth of experience in law-making and the impact of public policies within communities. She leads much of the Centre for Public Policy’s community and external engagement, providing an important bridge between the University, policy makers and the communities they serve. Beyond her work, Kezia is also Chair of Shelter Scotland, a member of the Oversight Board of the Promise and the Electoral Reform Society.
We’ll be discussing what works, what doesn’t and how to ensure your work is read and understood by policy professionals.
More about the ECR Network: The Centre for Public Policy Early Career Researchers' Network is a space for ECRs with an interest in public policy to come together and learn from each other. Any University of Glasgow early career researchers (from PhD students onwards) from any discipline who are interested in learning how to engage with public policy, integrate impact into their research, better understand what policymakers do and how to influence them, are invited to join the network.
