Have you ever wondered if your child’s challenges with focus, motivation, or emotional regulation could be signs of ADHD?
This interactive parent workshop is designed to help you understand what ADHD really looks like—and what steps you can take next.
Led by Chaquita Niamke, Psy.S., Licensed School Psychologist, this session will break down common signs of ADHD in children and teens, how attention differences show up at home and in school, and when it might be time to pursue an evaluation.
Parents will also have the opportunity to complete the Vanderbilt ADHD screener, the same tool many pediatricians use as part of the ADHD evaluation process. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of your child’s attention profile, practical strategies to support them, and resources to guide your next steps.
🧠 You’ll Learn:
- What ADHD is (and isn’t)
- How to recognize attention, impulsivity, and emotional regulation challenges
- How to determine if your child/teen may have an attention difference
- How to talk to teachers and healthcare providers about your concerns
- Simple strategies to support focus and follow-through at home
📍Perfect For:
Parents, caregivers, or guardians of children and teens who struggle with focus, organization, or emotional regulation and are curious about whether ADHD may be a factor.
