One year after their sold out debut performance, Laura and Violet are opening the living room door once more for an unforgettable night of music that will knock your slippers off.
Classically trained but shaped by their work in theatrical and alternative genres, Laura and Violet knit together romantic and modern masterpieces by Ravel, Kodály, and more in a program that holds not just the precision and passion of a classical chamber performance, but the intimacy, simplicity, and joy that comes from two dear friends that have shared endless stories and secrets huddled together on the living room couch.
In a fresh and immersive approach to the traditional classical performance, the audience will be seated alongside the performers in a living room recreated in the middle of the acoustically brilliant sanctuary at the historic Grace and St. Paul's Church on the Upper West Side - just around the corner from the tiny apartment where Violet and Laura got their start.
