Cottonwood's Homestudy Instructional Programs Kick-off Event (Afternoon)

Calling all Cottonwood families with students in Superstar Readers, TK Explorers, Boost, RISE, and CVHS!

Join us for an afternoon of in-person learning and connection for students and parents, hosted by your Homestudy Instructional Programs' Teachers, Lending Library Staff, Curriculum & Technology department, and High School team.

Students will:

• Meet their Instructional Programs' teachers & classmates
• Participate in grade level learning activities
• Enjoy free play & game time

Parents will:

• Get oriented to their students’ programs

• Enjoy coffee & pastries with other homeschool parents
• Pick up class curriculum & supplies (Superstar Readers, RISE, and CVHS)
• Get tech help or pick up tech orders

Before our event, we are opening some rooms for our students and their families to eat lunch together. TK - 6 graders and their parents/siblings will eat in the CCC while 7th-12th graders will have their own lunch area to hang out in. We'll also set out some games to play afterward! Bring a sack lunch and come prepared to have fun! Please, no nuts.

Schedule:

• 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM | Optional Homeschool Lunchroom (Parents & Students) - ticket required

• 12:45 PM - 1:00 PM | Arrive, Check-in, and Drop-off Students at Activity Center
• 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM | Students: Teacher-led Activities & Free Play/Games - ticket required
• 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM | Parents: Parent Hang-out & Curriculum Pick-up, Tech Help, and/or Program Orientations

Important Notes:

• Parents are required to stay on-site, but may drop off their students at the designated rooms for activities.

• Siblings who are not enrolled as Cottonwood students are welcome to attend, but need to stay with parents at all times. Be sure to let us know how many non-enrolled siblings will be in attendance with you on the order form.

HOW TO SIGN-UP:

Step #1: Student Sign-Up (Required)

• Select one ticket per child attending, according to grade level.
• School-aged siblings who are not enrolled in instructional programs are WELCOME to join us during this event as a normal attendee. Select their ticket according to grade level.

Step #2: Parent Orientation Sign-Up (Not Required)

• If interested, select a time slot for parent orientation.

Step #3: Tech Help Sign-Up (Not Required)

• If needed, you may select a time slot for tech help.
• If you signed up for orientation, make sure they are at different times.
• Arrive any time during your selected window for a short appointment regarding tech help (i.e. log-ins for online platforms used during class).

Step #4: Homeschool Lunchroom Sign-Up (Not Required)

• If interested, join us for lunch and games with other students & families. Please select a ticket for each attendee, including parents & pre-school aged siblings.
• TK-6th grade will be eating together in one area and 7th-12th in another. Please select the appropriate ticket types.
