Pesticide licensing in Florida can be confusing, and it may be difficult to determine which license/certification you need and how to obtain it. Read more about the Natural Areas license to make sure it applies to you.
The Natural Areas license is for professionals who use restricted use pesticides (RUPs) to manage unwanted vegetation in order to protect natural communities of conservation and recreation lands and other natural areas. To obtain this license, pesticide applicators must pass both the Core General Standards Exam and the Natural Areas category exam.
