About this event

🎉 Join us for an explosion of color and positivity at the "THIS IS ME" Color Run on September 21st! This isn't just any run; it's a celebration of YOUth empowerment, promoting happiness, health, and a substance-free lifestyle. This is fun run so we won't be timing you so run or walk at your leisure. We haven't mapped out the course just yet but it will be along the Calverton School Cross Country trail, through the woods and on uneven ground. We can assure you that it will be less than a 5K!

👕 Get ready to rock your free t-shirts, sunglasses, bandanas, and bracelets as you dash through vibrant clouds of color! 🎨 Groove to awesome beats, dive into thrilling games, and experience the joy of being your true, authentic self.

But wait, there's more! 🌟 For just a $20 registration fee, you can secure your spot in this unforgettable event. Plus, it's absolutely free for those three (3) and younger, ensuring that everyone can join in on the fun! Those who are three (3) and younger do not receive t-shirts. Those registered by August 10th are guaranteed a t-shirt and color run swag bag.

Local youth groups will host the color blast stations, adding an extra layer of community spirit and giving back. Every burst of color helps raise funds for their invaluable programs, supporting our youth in reaching their full potential.

If you are participating to benefit one of the groups listed below, please indicate that when you register.

Participating youth groups/clubs/teams include:

  • Beach Buccaneers Youth Club
  • Chesapeake Gymnastic Booster Club
  • Emmanual Church Students
  • Northern Middle School PTO
  • Prince Frederick Eagles
  • Twin Beach Players

We're excited to share that "THE NOVEL BAKERY" will be joining us again this year. They have an amazing selection of scones, muffins, hot/cold coffee and tea and specialty coffee and tea drinks. Check out their Facebook page to learn more about this local business from Chesapeake Beach, Maryland.

Mark your calendars and spread the word — because on September 21st, we're all about embracing individuality, supporting local youth initiatives, and living life to the fullest. See you at the starting line! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ #ThisIsMeColorRun #YouthEmpowerment #BeHappyBeHealthyBeSubstanceFree
