Frequently asked questions

Will there be a parent meeting?

Yes, Ashley will provide time to go over everything that will be taught at the day camp as well as be able to give you tips and advice as to how to answer questions after the camp and talk to your tweens about questions that may come up in the future.

Can I stay?

At this age, I recommend dropping off but if you would like to hang out and learn I'd be open to it.

Will there be any other adults helping out?

Depending on how many students registered there may be an additional female adult to help out with crafts and cleanup. That adult will have a background check and be considered a safe adult.

What qualifies you to educate my teen?

I have a bachelors in nursing and a certification as a fertility awareness and sexual health educator. I lead classes for children at a homeschool co-op and homeschool my own children. I have taught body literacy, reproductive and sexual health courses to tweens and teens for 2 years.

What if I can't afford it?

The majority of the costs go into keeping your children busy with activities and providing them with their first period kit to take home with them as well as providing a snack and drinks. If you should need financial assistance or a payment plan please reach out.

Can my teen bring their own food?

Yes, absolutely. While lunch and snacks will be provided your teen is welcome to bring any food they want pending there are no allergies of other students. If its a concern please reach out privately.

Is this held inside your house?

No. It will be outside or in the garage rain or shine. The only reason a teen would be inside the house is to use the bathroom which is just inside the entryway.
