Does this class have a fee?

No, West Palm Beach Fire Department is glad to offer FREE education to our community.

Will I receive a CPR certification?

No. This class is instructional only with the goal of teaching basic life-saving skills in the event of a cardiac arrest.

What topics will be covered in this class?

The class will teach the basics of how to handle an emergency to include; when to call 9-1-1, when to initiate CPR, what an AED is and how to use one.

Can I bring young children to the class?

Our goal is to maintain a productive learning atmosphere for all attendees, we kindly ask that you do not bring children under the age of 10.

Learn life-saving skills in an engaging and interactive environment. The class is provided and taught by West Palm Beach Fire Department who will teach you how to perform Hands-Only CPR. This class aims to help people obtain the necessary skills and confidence needed to assist in an emergency. Early CPR and defibrillation can double or triple a person's chances of survival. Join us and empower yourself with this lifesaving skill.

Enroll everyone that plans to attend and participate in the class.

Classes are open to ages 10 and above, anyone under 18 MUST have adult supervision.

This class does NOT provide CPR certification.
