On Day 1, discover the principles of coppicing: identifying suitable species, safe tool use and practical techniques for cutting and managing woodland for regeneration and biodiversity.
On Day 2, turn freshly cut material into useful coppice products. You’ll gain hands-on experience and insight into how traditional woodland management supports both wildlife and craft heritage.
