We offer support for the children in your life–because cancer affects the entire family.

About this event
Having a parent or caregiver with cancer can be overwhelming and isolating. Coping Kids Connect is a local, virtual support group for children impacted by a loved one’s cancer diagnosis.
During this support group, kids and teens will:
- Know this is a safe place to process their challenging emotions
- Identify coping strategies unique to them
- Connect with peers who are going through similar experiences
- Share their feelings, build resilience and learn healthy ways to manage stress and uncertainty during a difficult time through age-appropriate activities, discussions and guidance from a child life specialist
When: First Sunday of the month
5:00 – 6:00 p.m. 6-12 year olds
6:30 – 7:30 p.m. 13-18 year olds
Where: Right from the comfort and safety of home. This session is virtual with quarterly meetups.

Who can join: Children and teens of the Upstate whose parents or caregivers are receiving cancer care through Prisma Health.
