The global health community has been increasingly engaged with climate policy action at the international level. Building and strengthening new and existing collaborations at global, regional, and local levels is crucial to the goal of harnessing the health voice for climate action and ensuring that climate action protects and promotes people's health.

The purpose of the COP27 Climate and Health Networking Reception is to bring together health-focused governmental and non-governmental organizations, academic institutions, community organizations, youth organizations and health professionals working at the nexus of health, climate, and environment to facilitate idea sharing and further collaboration.

This will be an informal event, with a few high level speakers and considerable time to connect with others in the field.

To note:

This event is being held outside of the COP27 venue and is open to all in the health community who might want to attend, regardless of official UNFCCC accreditation.

We regret that we are unable to provide travel support, accommodation support, or visa support for those wishing to travel to Egypt to attend this event. This is an in-person event - there is no option to attend online / remotely.

Due to venue capacity restrictions, there are a limited number if tickets for this event. If we reach capacity and no tickets are available, please register to be added to the waiting list and we will work to accommodate as many people as possible.

For security reasons, you will be required to provide your passport to register AND show your passport upon arrival at the event
