MORE ABOUT your linguistic lubista Cait Chock, comedian and show producer: Cait has built Conversational Lube to one of Portland’s most unique and staple comedic experiences in pdx; what started as a social experiment and live comedy show is now broadening into all facets of conversing. She was a professional runner for Nike in a past life (before she got hit by a car while running and got her leg ripped off, then reattached lol) and turned to comedy to survive depression. Her monthly IT GETS DARK, dark comedy show, is also at Shanghai Tunnel Bar. She talks too fast, but it’s even faster in her head, so if you can keep up you probably also have ADD.
