Join us online the third Tuesday and fourth Thursday of each month as we continue the conversation from the latest First Tuesdays with HEART program and talk about things we’re experiencing in our everyday lives. Studies have shown that community is incredibly important in the healing journey of people impacted by a mass violence incident, so our goal is to bring community to you.
This support group is open to anyone impacted by any mass violence incident and facilitated by Jackie Harris, MA, LMFT, and Jill Winter. Jackie is the Behavioral Health Coordinator for the Resiliency & Justice Center, has been supporting the Route 91 family since the morning after the incident, one of the original HEART Peer Support Coaches, and facilitates a Route 91 support group. Jill is a survivor of Route 91, Co-Founder and Co-Director of HEART Peer Support, and Co-Facilitator of a UNLV faculty and staff support group. She writes a column on mental health in Life Between the Lakes, a local magazine in Middle Tennessee.
