YOM KIPPUR Creative, Contemporary, Musical, Spiritual, Free Service

These Yom Kippur services are creative and contemporary services which seeks to deepen the experience of all in attendance. The services are a combination of Hebrew and English with both traditional and contemporary music. The morning service runs from 10am to 2:45 pm followed by social justice speaker, dialogue between rabbi and spiritual therapist on themes of the day, contemporary poetry and music, meditation with reflection questions creative reading of book of Jonah, Memorial service at 4:30 both for world tragedies ( Holocaust , 9/11, Oct 7th)and personal Yizkor memorial followed by Concluding service with soulful music, torchlit ceremony and dancing our way into the new year. These services are geared for those who come from Reform, Conservative, unaffiliated backgrounds. Men and women sit together.
