Cookie Cutter Theatre presents Constellations by Nick Payne, writer of the 2024 hit movie We Live in Time. Constellations takes audiences on a spellbinding journey exploring the relationship of a couple through the concept of infinite possibilities and multiverses.
Cookie Cutter Theatre's Constellations is a one of a kind opportunity to experience the play in an intimate after hours bookstore setting at The Open Book Simi Valley, combining literary art with performance art. Audiences will first have the freedom to peruse the bookstore after hours before being transported into the story where they can experience the world around them as the characters do.
Nick Payne’s Constellations takes a coincidental meeting between Quantum Physicist Marianne and Beekeeper Roland and opens the door to the endless possibilities of their relationship. The show breathlessly navigates through the cosmic and romantic journey of falling in love, working through heartache and exploring how much the idea of free will really plays a part in our lives.
Constellations runs November 6th-23rd, Thursday-Sunday at 7:30pm with Saturdays shows at 8:30pm.
Doors open 30 minutes before showtime when the bookstore closes to the public. Audiences are welcome to come earlier and spend time in the store.
