About this event

ABOUT THE EVENT:

StrongHER® is proud to offer this transformative workshop designed to help young women and girls uncover, uphold, and communicate boundaries without guilt and in alignment with their personal values.

This 90-minute interactive seminar, led by licensed counselor and StrongHER® founder Chantell Prestcott-Hollander, focuses on the foundational concepts of consent and boundaries across emotional, relational, and physical dimensions. While conversations around consent often center on sexual behavior, this workshop broadens the scope to also include how we recognize and assert our needs, protect our energy, and communicate clearly in friendships, dating relationships, family settings, and beyond.

Participants will explore:

  • How to identify and define personal values that shape our boundaries
  • Tools for recognizing manipulation and pressure tactics
  • The role of emotional boundaries and how to protect your internal peace
  • Practicing boundary-setting and assertive communication in real-world scenarios

Through guided discussion, journaling prompts, and scenario-based role play, participants will learn to uphold boundaries with clarity and confidence, without apology. Attendees will also explore common barriers to boundary enforcement, including fear of disappointing others or being labeled as "mean," and will gain tools to navigate those challenges with integrity.

This seminar is especially relevant for all women and especially pertinent for rising adults, high school and college-age women, and parents seeking to support their daughters as they enter more complex social and emotional environments. Women of all ages are also welcome, as these skills are applicable throughout life.
