About this event
We will be diving into conscious composting as a spiritual and sustainable practice. Together, we will learn how to and how easy it is to compost, the impact composting has, and how we can come together as a community to build a greener future together.
I am a Lakota woman who has learned from her tribe about the importance of composting and acts of service through sustainability. I have traveled the globe studying herbs from indigenous cultures, such as Sri Lanka, Costa Rica, and from Amazonian tribes. Although I am a hands-on community-based learner, I have a formal education in Psychology and extensive training in botanicals and mental health from working at the National University of Natural Medicine and other events, such as the Good Medicine Confluence. I am partnered with local food banks, restaurants, and composting pilot programs in other states to spread awareness as an educator and community partner for a greener future.
