Conquering College Applications: A Writing Workshop for Juniors & Seniors

The college application process can feel overwhelming — especially the writing. Between personal statements, supplemental essays, short responses, and professional emails, students often struggle to know where to begin or how to make their voice stand out. This 4-week workshop is designed to make that process easier, clearer, and far less stressful for both students and families.

Through guided instruction and hands-on writing time, students will learn how to:

• Write a powerful, authentic personal statement

• Break down confusing supplemental essay prompts

• Highlight strengths, experiences, and goals with clarity

• Structure, revise, and polish essays effectively

• Communicate professionally in emails to colleges or recommenders

• Understand what admissions readers are actually looking for

Whether they’re seniors completing their final applications or juniors getting a smart head start, students will leave this workshop with stronger writing skills, greater confidence, and polished materials that help them truly stand out.

This live class will be held at our Jersey City Campus, and participants will receive an email with details on how to access the campus 48 to 72 hours before the start of class.
