Why spend hours making your way through the new Canva features when we can help streamline your learning curve? Instructor Felicia Strayhorn has done the research for you. Now she's ready to spill the tea on the best ideas, tips, and tricks for teachers who want to create great classroom materials and engaging assignments for their students. Here's just a taste of what she'll show you:
- Bulk Create: allows you to create a school year’s worth of great material in one sitting (daily vocabulary words/quotes/history facts)
- Canva AI: video creation, lesson creation, collaborative assignments, and creating educational widgets and games
- Magic Activities: generates engaging activities aligned with a standard or theme
- How to insert polls and quizzes into your presentations, and more!
As an Educational Technology Specialist with the Washington County, TN public schools, Felicia has a knack for finding the Canva features that are most helpful for innovative educators from K to 12. She has vetted the new features and will cover some that she thinks will be a hit You'll be able to create some great items for use in the classroom.
We're offering this online in order to make it as accessible as possible for teachers from all over East Tennessee. You'll receive 2 hours of credit for attending the online session, and another hour of credit if you complete an assignment based on what you learned and turn it in.

If you're not able to join us for the October 22 session, please sign up for the Saturday October 25th session, which will run from 10 AM to noon.
