Connections and Conversations: An ARYSE Storytelling Event

Come join us for a night of stories, art, and community at Point Park University's George Rowland White Performance Center. This event is a part of our Counter-Storytelling Librarianship Project which centers the tools and skills that challenge dominant narratives. This event will center the experiences of forcibly displaced youth and community members. We welcome storytellers, youth educators, librarians and artists to come out! Let's connect, listen, and learn from each other. See you there!

Activities:

  • Youth photography and visual art exhibition
  • Youth- led Attan dance performance
  • Storytelling and culture conversation led by community leaders
