Connecting with Climate Change Buggy Tour

Gain a different perspective of Tiger Creek Preserve and learn about our ever-changing world on our swamp buggy tour!
Connecting with Conservation Weekends (CwC) introduces guests to TNC conservation priorities with a free monthly activity. This month’s tour focuses on climate change. Learn all about climate change and how our ecosystem has changed over time. We will also highlight how nature is the super hero in the face of climate change at Tiger Creek, Florida and around the world.
This is an introductory tour, no previous experience necessary.
Please Consider:
- All guests will be required to sign a waiver onsite
- All youth (ages 12-17) must be accompanied by a legal guardian
- All guests must be able to climb steep steps to board the buggy.
- Dress Code: Guests should wear bug/sun protective clothing. Closed toed shoes, long pants, hat, and sunglasses are recommended.
- Parking: free onsite at office (1 ADA van accessible)
- Restroom: 2 non-gendered (1 ADA compliant) at office Guests must use restroom prior to boarding buggy
- Water: Cooler for water refills provided
- Binoculars, sunscreen and bug spray available for use
- There are two optional stops where guests will get off the buggy to explore. Stops will involve maneuvering in sandy soil and uneven terrain. Guests can remain on buggy.
