Connecting Rods Opening Reception

Connecting Rods is a documentary project by Julianna D'Intino, ongoing since 2015. The work explores deindustrialization in the artist's hometown, focusing on the now-shuttered General Motors Factory where both her father and maternal grandfather once worked. The exhibition traces the economic and social history of the factory, exploring the benefits and detriments to the region throughout its history. This exhibition will debut new portraits in the series, along with showcasing the full body of work.
