This symposium is part a national Strengthening Pathways for Health Research initiative—a program funded by Doris Duke, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Susan G Komen, among other foundations focused on rethinking how we invest in health research that prevents disease and improves health outcomes, especially in communities that are too often left out of the conversation.
