Presenters

Dr. Janet O. Allen is the Clinical Director of Creekside Counseling in Idaho Falls. She has worked in the field of mental health for the last 35 years. She works with adults and couples, primarily, and treats depression, anxiety, process addictions, and trauma. Dr. Allen has a special interest in working with local first responders and is trained in CBT, DBT, EMDR, and Yoga for First Responders (YFFR). She is a strong advocate for counseling and speaks to various audiences addressing topics related to mental health and emotional resilience.

Willow Abrahamson is a Behavioral Health Specialist for the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes at Cedar House Mental Wellness & Recovery Services. A dedicated therapist and social worker, Willow centers her practice on strengths-based, community-oriented, and culturally responsive therapeutic approaches. She has led national-level training and technical assistance for early childhood programs, helping Tribal communities develop systems that support long-term wellness and resilience. A mentor to other program directors and a former facilitator of State-Tribal coordination initiatives, Willow integrates traditional ecological knowledge, tribal language, and cultural practices into her therapeutic framework. She is a respected Champion Jingle Dress Dancer, whose somatic healing approach is informed by cultural movement and ceremony. In addition to her work as a therapist, Willow is a suicide prevention advocate, QPR Gatekeeper, trauma specialist, and member of crisis response teams. She proudly represents the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes and also honors her heritage from the Colville, Coeur d’Alene, and Salish & Kootenai Tribes.

Dr. Kent A. Corso is a licensed clinical psychologist and board-certified behavior analyst. His career in suicidology began over 20 years ago, while serving in the U.S. Air Force. Dr. Corso has researched, developed and evaluated suicide prevention programs across the North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. Most recently, he developed PROSPER, an evidence-based suicide prevention and intervention program. Dr. Corso has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers on suicide and the behavioral sciences is a leading expert in novel scientific methods and digital technologies for analyzing suicide.

What time is check-in and what time does the conference start?

Check in starts at 7:30 AM and the conference starts at 8:00 AM.

Will lunch be included?

Yes. Lunch includes an Artisan Sandwich Boxed Lunch.

Will CEU's be offered?

7 CEU's will be offered. For those who purchase the CEU Admission, you will get your Certificate of Attendance when you check out at the end of the conference.

What is the cost?

Early Bird Registration before September 1, 2025, is $80 for admission with CEU's and $25 for general admission. Pricing after September 1, 2025, will be $95 for admission with CEU's and $40 for general admission. Admission includes lunch.

Will parking be free?

Yes, parking is free the day of the conference.
