The Global Connections Foundation and the Hopewell Valley Race & Diversity Group are partnering together for our community to share a meal and some quality time.

This free event is a part of a comprehensive approach to support community engagement including an in-depth look at the role of social media. We hope to facilitate meaningful discussions and build strong community partnerships that link individuals, families, communities, organizations, and agencies. Our goal is to raise awareness, enable informed conversations that strengthen connections, and increase resiliency through shared values and a community-based approach that benefits all families. Our ultimate objective is for this event to spark ongoing relationships that continue beyond the evening.

The program is sponsored by the Global Peace Foundation who has been collaborating with community, faith-based organizations, first responders, and law enforcement agencies to train and prevent targeted violence in New Jersey. Their training touches upon sensitive subjects such as bias, extremism, radicalization to violence, race and culture. This eye-opening discourse will share facts, empirical data, and dispel myths.

Global peace Foundation training has been developed in partnership with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General and the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness and other state and federal agencies.
