Connect at the List: Graduate Art Students

Join us at the MIT List Visual Arts Center for a unique chance to connect with other Boston area graduate art students and emerging artists.

For this special networking event, the List Center invites Boston’s area graduate art students, recent grads, and emerging artists to come together and create connections, while learning more about our exhibitions and highlighting community, placemaking, and professional development.

This event will begin with an exhibition tour of Goldin+Senneby: Flare-Up and American Artist: To Acorn followed by networking activities made in collaboration with Still Life Studios. There will be a chance to meet new colleagues over food and beverages or win one of our several raffled prizes. Attendees are invited to bring their business cards or create them using provided materials.

About the Collaborator

Still Life Studios is an intimate workspace that feels like a blend of an art studio, a cozy cafe, an office, and a vintage store. It’s a place where you can concentrate on independent projects of your own, and a place where you can connect with and learn from others. We center around community, sustainability, and getting the last drop out of our things, including items often discarded.

The studio is available during the weekday as a casual co-working space, offering various concentrations each evening – writing, fiber arts, drawing, and collage. We embrace the motivation we get from working in-person alongside others – whether in direct collaboration or focused silence – and hope to foster a supportive environment that helps you create something you're excited about.
