Jimme Wagner - Born in Annapolis, Jimmy has always wanted to live a life as a horsemen and God has continued to give him that privilege at Jimmy Wagner Horsemanship. In 2020 Jimmy paired with a little mare named Delilah and took home Reserve Champion for Rescued to Stardom. In 2021 he placed 3rd in the Freestyle

Division at The Thoroughbred Makeover at Kentucky Horse Park with an all-star of a horse named Dunkin. Jimmy has performed demonstrations at many events all over the state of Maryland. His horse addiction began when his mom dropped him off for daycare, everyday he had outdoor time and right across the street was Days End Farm Horse Rescue. He would sit out in the yard and watch the horses, one horse in the field was white so like any kid would do, he named him snowball. Seeing his interest, his mom got him involved as a volunteer at DEFHR at just four years old. Jimmy feels he’s been blessed to have learned and worked with mentors in his life including David Beard and Brooke Vrany. When they first took him under their wing at the age of 17, the first thing David told him was “Jimmy things change, life changes and so do animals.” So everyday Jimmy tries to learn something new. “The day you stop looking to learn is the day you will stop improving. Always look for ways to get better, whether its through your own mistakes or working along side someone else, always continue to learn.” The goal of this clinic is to continue to prep you and your horse for this year’s trail seasons. This will also be a great clinic to start exposing young horses and young handlers.
