The mission of CED is to provide professional and personal development workshops to enhance the skills needed to enter and thrive in Silicon Valley.

Participants have space to actively engage in conversation and increase their understanding of the role each stakeholder has and how to contribute to the advancement of diversity in the workplace.

If you’re interested in bringing a large group or taking a big vehicle, please email us and let us know so that we can try to accommodate you. Parking will be limited. Garages have a height limit for groups coming in buses.

The Black Alliance of Scientists and Engineers (BASE) at San Jose State University (SJSU) is a chapter organization of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). BASE exists primarily for those students who are fully matriculated at SJSU and are pursuing a degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology. However, BASE is open to any individual that shares its overall goals.

Our Beta Upsilon Chapter was founded on May, 6th of 2017. We welcomed to San José State University the International Executive Board of Alpha Omega Epsilon. We had a long day of workshops, and then we concluded the day with our chapter ceremony, which made San José State University the first Chapter of AΩE in Northern California.
