The Digital Skills Program is a beginner-friendly training designed to help individuals develop essential computer and internet skills. Participants will learn computer basics, internet navigation, email management, and cybersecurity, gaining the confidence to use technology effectively in daily life.

The program consists of six sessions,

held from August 11th – August 22nd on:

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

  • Wednesday, August 13
  • Friday, August 15
  • Monday, August 18
  • Wednesday, August 20
  • Friday, August 22

at the Job Center of Lake County 1 N Genesee St, Waukegan, IL 60085.

Attendance at all sessions is required to complete the course and receive a certificate of completion.

Additionally, individuals who do not own a personal laptop, desktop, or tablet (or only have a school-issued device) may qualify to receive a brand-new laptop.
