Computer Science Is Not for the Birds!
We are excited to kick off a professional learning series in the area of Computer Science. Dr. Sarah Phelps from the LTC will lead this Institute Day event. Sarah will demonstrate how you can integrate Computer Science into the content areas. This will be a hands-on event where Sarah will be demonstrating how you can use Finch Robots and Micro:Bits in your classroom.
Districts who attend will be able to adopt “a flock of Finches” or a pack of Micro:Bits to use in their classrooms. Materials will be on loan and will need to “fly away home” by June 2026. We have just 22 sets to loan out so register early for this Institute Day session.
(Materials were paid for by a Computer Science grant.)
Sarah will also be offering several in person and virtual sessions this school year on how you can integrate Computer Science in your classroom. Check out our PD calendar for future training opportunities.
