We are pleased to offer adult classes for computer basics! Space is limited (call the Grantville Branch if you need assistance registering). Computer classes are designed for individuals with little to no prior computer experience. Ages 18 & up.
Sessions:
September 9: Computer Basics - What's what? Discover the parts of a computer in this session.
September 23: Keyboard & Mouse - Gain an understanding of the right and left click, as well as using the mouse to scroll up and down on a page; then practice your new skills with fun exercise.
October 7: The Internet - You will learn about the different Internet browsers available for searching the World Wide Web.
October 21: E-mail Basics - Learn to create a Gmail (Google e-mail) account and basic functions. Please bring a text-capable phone.
November 4: Microsoft Word Intro - Get an overview of Microsoft Word and create a MS Word document.
November 18: More with Microsoft Word - Learn the formatting a Word document.
