To truly initiate the transformative shifts in society and ourselves, we need to go beyond the technical and practical skills and balance these with the collective foundations and values for a regenerative culture. This workshop will explore the underlying roots of regenerative cultures including the 7 Principles of Regeneration and the frameworks for regenerative design. We will also explore the key tools for deep collaboration with people and nature, and learn to mimic natural systems in our synergetic flourishing.
Throughout the day we will explore and live the questions:
- How can we thrive in our regenerative projects as individuals, groups & movements?
- What does place-based regeneration feel like and what culture underpins this?
- How do our ancient cultures and earth based practices from these lands relate to us today, and tomorrow?
- What tools do I need for my project, group or organisation to thrive?
- How can Regenerative Action Cycles and a culture of care underpin and sustain my/our work in a tangible and transformative way?
- How can NVC, compassionate communication and conflict transformation tools help our collective work ?
Hamish Evans brings his experiences from collaborative food/farming projects combined (e.g. see Middlegroundgrowers.com) with Elia De Matteis' work in compassionate communication, facilitation and conflict transformation, to bring you a day of practical tools for effective collaboration see https://eliadematteis.com for more info). We are really excited to offer this event at the beautiful Damson Farm (not at Weston Spring Farm this month) - an ecological smallholding, education centre and stunning garden on the edge of Bath hosted by Alison Jenkins. A delicious lunch from the lands and garden will be provided and refreshments through the day.
Please let us know any dietary requirements and if you require a parking space on the day.
We look forward to welcoming you!
