Compass Conversations: Motivational Interviewing with CSE Youth

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a powerful approach that guides youth to explore their own motivations for change while strengthening their sense of autonomy and self-efficacy. This interactive, in-person workshop equips service providers with MI techniques tailored to working CSEC youth. Participants will learn how to engage youth in meaningful conversations that honor their lived experiences, reduce resistance, and foster change. Just as a compass guides without directing, MI helps youth navigate their own path forward.
