Join us online for an engaging orientation where you’ll discover how our Long-Term Foster Care Program provides safety, stability, and hope to youth who need it most. Whether you’re exploring becoming a foster parent or simply want to learn more, this event is for you!
At Compass Connections, we have the privilege of serving unaccompanied immigrant and refugee youth from across the globe—El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Guinea, and many more. Most are between 12–17 years old (sometimes even younger), and with your support, we provide them with:

🌱 Life skills and mentorship
🎓 A sense of normalcy
🌍 Preparation for life in the U.S.
Unlike traditional foster care, where placements can be short-term, many of our placements are long-term—lasting months or even years—allowing you to form deep, meaningful bonds.
We also offer opportunities to care for older youth (“age-outs”) who are preparing to transition into independence. These placements may be shorter-term, but they are just as impactful, giving young adults the stability and guidance they need as they take their next steps into adulthood.
Our dedicated team works closely with the Office of Refugee and Resettlement and State Licensing (DFPS) to support each child’s journey, keep families abroad informed (when possible), and help youth reunify with relatives here in the U.S.
