Dear Friends,

We have been working on our kitchen and dining hall renovation for the past year and are nearing completion. We hope to finish by mid June and need your help! Our focus for these two days will be clearing our forest of debris to make camping spaces, cutting grass, making beds, cleaning, transporting things to our new kitchen and dining hall... etc. We are excited to show you our monastery's progress and hope you will be a part of our growth!

Frequently asked questions

Can I come for just one day?

Yes! You are welcome to come for either Friday or Saturday. We have 2 working sessions, one in the morning from 9am-11:30 am and in the afternoon from 3pm-5:30pm. You can come for just the morning/just the afternoon/both.

Are meals included?

Yes! We will offer a vegan lunch and dinner for both days. Please email us at: office@magnoliagrovemonastery.org so our chefs du jour can better plan meals.

Can I spend the night or both weekend nights?

Yes! Please bring your own sleeping bag/blanket and we will provide sheets and pillows and email our office at: office@magnoliagrovemonastery.org so we can prepare rooms in advance.

Can I come with family and friends?

Yes, please! The more the merrier! If you belong to a local sangha practicing in the Plum Village tradition, please come with your sangha as we need all hands on deck!
