Community Summit – Empowering Alabama’s Nonprofit Leaders
Join us for the Community Summit, a statewide gathering designed to educate, equip, and inspire Alabama’s nonprofit leaders. This full-day experience blends professional development and networking through dynamic workshops, expert panels, peer learning, and interactive sessions. Attendees will leave with practical tools, fresh connections, and bold strategies to expand their impact in the communities they serve.

Bringing together nonprofit professionals, grassroots organizers, community partners, and thought leaders, the Summit fosters collaboration, resource sharing, and innovation—culminating in a lively Community Mixer to close out the day.

Summit Overview
The Community Summit delivers a full day of connection, learning, and collaboration. The morning begins with the Collaboration Café, featuring coffee, grab-and-go breakfast items, and casual networking to spark early connections. An energizing keynote on grassroots leadership and a panel of local changemakers set the tone for the day, followed by hands-on workshops in grant writing, community engagement, and strategic partnerships.

Midday sessions include guided roundtables exploring youth, health, economic development, and the arts, plus a Lunch & Learn on the future of nonprofits. The afternoon features breakout sessions on strategic planning, and the day wraps up with the Community Mixer—a relaxed social hour with music, refreshments, and space to celebrate new partnerships and shared progress.
