Join us for a day of service, teamwork, and community spirit! We’re coming together to enhance the outdoor areas where our Youth Development programs—like Afterschool, Early Learning, and Youth Sports—take place. Your time and energy will help us create a safe, clean, and welcoming space for local children and families to learn, play, and grow.

What to Expect

You’ll work alongside Y staff, members, and neighbors on hands-on outdoor projects including:

• Picking up trash and debris around the property
• Cleaning and wiping down picnic tables and benches
• Sweeping walkways and common areas
• Painting outdoor structures and touch-up areas
• Removing large rocks and filling holes in the field
• Cutting weeds, trimming brush, and clearing overgrowth

We’ll provide direction and materials, but extra supplies are welcome!

Items We’re Asking Volunteers to Bring (if possible)

• Shovels
• Trimmers / shears
• Buckets
• Gloves
• Brooms
• Trash bags

What to Bring & Wear

Dress comfortably for outdoor work—clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, sturdy shoes, and weather-appropriate gear.

This is a great opportunity for individuals, families, and groups to give back and make a visible impact on our community spaces. Together, we can keep the Y’s outdoor areas beautiful and ready for every child to thrive!
