About this event

Other

The American College of Surgeons’ “Stop the Bleed” program has prepared nearly 4 million people worldwide on how to stop bleeding in a severely injured person - you can too!

With 3 quick actions, you can be trained to save a life! The number 1 cause of preventable death after injury is bleeding. That’s why we want to train you how to stop the bleed.

“Stop the Bleed” is a grassroots national awareness campaign and call-to-action. “Stop the Bleed” encourages bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.

Participants will learn these three techniques to stop bleeding: direct pressure, packing wounds, and using tourniquets.

This training program is open to ages 13+.Space is limited to 25 attendees per class. Registration is required.
