Community Scan-a-thon Event at the Philippine Cultural Community Center

By Stephanie Flood

Overview

Have a story to tell about Filipino American life and memories capturing a time of Indianapolis in the past?

Come on in with your photographs, images and documents that have historic and cultural significance to the Filipino American community and Hoosier history. Digital Indy, a special digitization project with the Indianapolis Public Library, will help you scan your mementos into a new archive that is helping preserve Filipino American cultural heritage.

Scanned items will be added to the Filipino American Community of Indianapolis Archive with Digital Indy at https://www.digitalindy.org/digital/collection/fac

And, enjoy a wonder menu of Filipino food and local community while you have your photos scanned too. Thanks for being a part of Indianapolis history!
