On August 10th and 11th, Region Ten will be offering a Community Resilience Initiative "Boot Camp" training, offering both CRI Course One and Two (in person) at the Region Ten office at 500 Old Lynchburg Road in Charlottesville.

Course One will be on Thursday the 10th from 8:30AM - 3:30PM, and Course Two will be on Friday the 11th from 8:30AM - 3:30PM.

**Please read the following sign-up details carefully to ensure that you are registering for the course that you want to attend:

This is a two day, back to back training held with the intent to certify those who attend in both CRI Course One and Course Two. If you are planning to attend both Course One and Two, please sign up for both dates.

If you only wish to attend Course One, please register for that date only.

Since Course Two requires one to already have completed Course One, if you do not plan on attending the first date and do not have previous Course One certification, then you may not register for just Course Two.**

The Community Resilience Initiative (CRI) has developed courses to teach parents, schools, medical professionals, mental health practitioners, and any community member interested in learning more about toxic stress and how individuals and communities build resilience across the lifespan.

CRI Course One: Trauma-Informed: This 6-hour course covers NEAR Science (Neuroscience, Epigenetics, ACE Study, Resilience), Brain States, and ROLES strategies for individuals seeking a trauma-informed certification.

CRI Course Two: Trauma-Supportive: This 6-hour course covers the science of resiliency and shares promising strategies to build culturally and contextually resilient individuals and communities.

Be advised: In order to take CRI Course Two, you MUST have already completed CRI Course One.
