Community Read & Conversation: Meeting Two — Connection & Action

Join Good Shepherd Center for the second gathering in our Community Read & Conversation series, inspired by There Is No Place for Us by Brian Goldstone. This evening brings our community together to bridge empathy and action through a thoughtful panel discussion on local housing challenges and solutions.

Moderated by Good Shepherd staff, the conversation will feature Executive Director Katrina Knight alongside local experts, advocates, and community leaders who work every day to expand housing access in Wilmington. Together, we’ll explore what it takes to create lasting stability for all our neighbors — and how each of us can be part of the solution.

Attendees will also enjoy our “Readers Give Back” Raffle, a thank-you to everyone who joined the conversation.

📍 Thursday, December 4 | 5:30-7:00 PM | WHQR Gallery

This event is free and open to the public.
If you joined us for Meeting One, this is your chance to see your questions and reflections take shape in real community dialogue — and if you’re new to the series, you’re more than welcome to jump in here as we turn empathy into action.
