Standing in the Same Storm: Peer Support in Times of Collective Challenge

How do we hold space for others when we’re grieving, anxious, or afraid ourselves? When the ground keeps shifting and we’re not sure what’s coming next?

The pace of change in our world has been accelerating, bringing with it a unique set of challenges that can impact our individual and collective sense of calm and well-being. These constant shifts, while often unpredictable, touch both those receiving support and those offering it.

This workshop is for peer supporters, advocates, and caregivers navigating that reality.

Together, we’ll explore what it means to stay grounded, ethical, and present when we’re not standing outside the storm — we’re in it too.

🌿 In August's session, we’ll explore:

  • What it means to support others while impacted ourselves
  • How to name “the storm” without getting lost in it
  • Ethical grounding for peer work in shared challenge
  • Practices for nervous system regulation and boundaries
  • How to offer grounded hope, not false reassurance

This is not a lecture — it’s a space for reflection, validation, and connection among those doing the hard work of showing up amid uncertainty.
