Come join us at the Belfast Free Library for a powerful day of connection and skill-building. Participants will gain the tools to depolarize key issues and build stronger communities - together. We would love for you to join us!
Through a combination of training materials from the national bridge-building organization Braver Angels (an affiliate of Building Bridges Maine), we will work through our inner depolarizer and tools for leading conversations in divided communities. Come learn about success stories from the field from some of JustME for JustUS's incredible Rural Youth Organizers who lead critical bridge-building work on civic and climate justice in rural Maine. Plus, learn strategies and get support to make a difference in your own community.
This workshop is both a training to connect with our valued community and a fundraising event for JustME for JustUS, a 501(c)(3) organization. Your ticket purchase and donations go directly to supporting youth in rural Maine leading this critical organizing work, combatting the disconnection crisis, and building resilient communities. We do not want cost to be a barrier to attendance. Participants may opt to use the discount code "JMJU2025" at checkout for a free ticket.
