- Event lasts 2 hours
Join us for our next community organizing event on Sunday, June 22nd! Previously, we've gathered to talk about what we want to see and what we can do to resist the Trump regime’s illegal, immoral, and unconstitutional actions. Some of us have begun working together on specific actions. Now we’d like to continue that work and put more of the ideas that were discussed into action.
This in-person gathering is a great opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals in our community. Whether you're a seasoned activist or just trying to find ways to make a difference, everyone is welcome to come together to share ideas and plan for positive change.
Previously we've met in three different locations, but this month we will all be joining together at the Unitarian Society of Santa Barbara.
The meeting will include:
- updates on news and upcoming events from attendees
- a review of past ideas and chance to share new ideas for action
- local organizations explaining how you can help their efforts
- breakouts into small groups organizing for specific actions in our community
This event is not a protest but will help our community build the connections we need as well as begin work on protests, outreach, and more.

Jefferson Hall
To find Jefferson Hall, enter through the gate in the white fence on the southeast side of the USSB campus. There will be a sign for the Knox School. Entering the courtyard, Jefferson Hall is immediately on your left. There is a small sign on the building that can be seen from the sidewalk saying 'Jefferson Hall'. We have been asked not to gather in the courtyard area, so please make your way to Jefferson Hall when you arrive.

Frequently asked questions
No. This is an organizing event. If you want to help bring more protests or other actions to Santa Barbara, then this is the event for you.
We'll have some snacks and water, but you are welcome to bring food for yourself or to share if you like.
This event welcomes people that are upset with a wide range of attacks and failures by the current regime that are literally too long to list here. However, this event will focus on what we can do to connect, mobilize, and fight back especially addressing the actions and ideas shared previously.
