Community Meeting to Design Your Downtown Trinidad Community River Park

Join us Saturday Nov 15th at 9 AM for a project tour, river updates, and to share your design ideas for YOUR Downtown Trinidad Community River Park at the Commercial Street Bridge!

Meet at 9 AM the Hilton Garden Inn Conference Room, just inside the lobby at the Hilton Garden Inn at 201Americana Road.

We'll have coffee and snacks plus FREE LUNCH!

Since 2019 an exciting collaboration of more than 40 partner organizations and many engaged community members have been slowly and thoughtfully working on amenities and river improvements on the river section between the Commercial Street Bridge and the Railroad Bridge (that connects the Hilton Garden Inn and Phil Long Toyota). These river improvements are already benefitting our local agricultural producers, our fish and wildlife, our river recreators, and our local water managers - as well as all ages of community members!

As well, many of you have joined us in person and through surveys to share your family stories of the river and YOUR dreams for the future of our river! Thank you!

NOW our design team is getting ready to hit the design table and develop several river park design options for us all to choose from - BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP FIRST!

Please join us on Saturday to KICK OFF THIS NEXT PROJECT PHASE which includes touring the project area, hearing new river updates, learning more about the design ideas your community members have been suggesting, and most importantly - sharing YOUR new or updated design ideas!
