CIF was established alongside the creation of the 16 Tech Community Corporation to ensure nearby neighborhoods benefit from the District’s growth. Guided by a resident-led advisory committee and developed in partnership with Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF), the fund supports projects that reflect community priorities. It is sustained through a tenant assessment model that grows with the District over time. In its fifth year, CIF has awarded over $2.2 million in grants that support 65 projects that support community needs and enhance the quality of life for the District’s closest neighbors.
