Description

Community health is one of the core components of community sustainability, but in many ways it is an issue that tends to fly under the radar screen, both in terms of health care public policy debates and community development discussions.

Understanding community health should be a key priority for any corporate citizenship leader and community development leader.

Dave Minifie, Chief Experience Officer at Centene, the largest Medicaid managed care organization in the United States, will walk through some of the key issues that the fast-growing managed care company has experienced, share lessons learned, and discuss future strategies for consideration.

For additional background about the importance of corporate involvement in community health, see Babson College and IO Sustainability’s Project ROI report on this subject.
