Community Hack 2025
Overview
Get ready to innovate, create, and make an impact at Community Hack 2025, hosted by STEM Roots at Howard High School! This in-person hackathon invites middle and high school students to use technology for good — designing creative solutions that strengthen our schools, neighborhoods, and communities.
Over four exciting hours, participants will brainstorm, build, and present projects inspired by the theme “Tech for Good: Building a Better Community.” Whether you’re a beginner exploring coding for the first time or a tech enthusiast eager to showcase your skills, there’s a place for you here.
Work alongside mentors, attend mini-workshops, and collaborate with like-minded peers in a supportive and inspiring environment. There will be SNACKS + CERTIFICATES + PRIZES!! No prior experience required — just bring your curiosity, creativity, and passion for making a difference.
Join us for an evening of innovation, teamwork, and fun — and help shape the future of your community, one idea at a time!
